The Record

THE BIG IDEA

This week’s energy holds within it a deep sense of completion, the type of precious feeling earned when inner transformation work is reflected by something in the physical world.

The Mishkan, the precursor to the two temples of God, with all its beauty and splendor, would never have existed if the Israelites were able to hold the abstract Oneness of divinity on their first try. The sin of the Golden Calf forced a profound awakening within Moses to accept the spiritual level of the collective and adjust his prayer (and expectations) accordingly ; the newly freed slaves needed to practice seeing the divine in the material world.

This weekend, Moses’ prayer and their spiritual level is actualized.

Prepare your home for Shabbath as if you were Moses building the Mishkan. When Shabbat enters, feel the power of divinity infuse your candle sticks, and your Challah, and your entire home.

Prove to yourself, and the creator that you/we are ready to grow into our next spiritual level.

Purim is fast approaching. Don’t be fooled by the masks of the holiday, Purim is the most important time of the year to stand before the king and gracefully ask for our continued survival.

Take advantage of the divine closeness in this week’s energy, and God’s willingness to forgive, accept and adjust.
